The most common tool that lawmakers use to secure the passage of any action of interest or legislation is called Logrolling and it has three types:

- Direct: Small bodies exchanging votes, easy to observe, trade and arrange.  

- Implicit: It is defined as the situation when large bodies of voters decided without a voting formal trade.  

- Distributive: This is the most common used in democratic systems and enables lawmakers to achieve their public goals or obtain passage.
