I am for the “immediate, unconditional, and universal” enfranchisement of the black man, in every State in the Union. I would say this excerpt best summarizes the speech of Frederick Douglass, former slave in speaking out against not only the slavery of the past controlled by the slave owner and now slavery of society by not allowing the black man to have full emanicipation.
