Asexual: Offspring arise from single organism
Sexual: Genetic information from two organisms (male and female), where one produces a motile gamete (male) that travels to fuse with a larger stationary gamete produced by other (female).
Internal Fertilization: Union of an egg cell with a sperm during sexual reproduction inside the body of a parent.
External Fertilization: The sperm cell reunites with the egg cell in the open, rather than inside the body of a parent.

Natali [406]
The correct sequence is; Glycolysis-pyruvate-acetyl CoA-krebs cycle-electron transport chain.
Glycolysis is a sequence of reactions for the breakdown of glucose to two molecules of pyruvic acid under aerobic conditions, Krebs cycle is a series of chemical reactions used by all aerobic organisms to release stored energy through the oxidation of acetyl-CoA derived from carbohydrates, fats, and proteins into carbon dioxide and chemical energy in the energy carriers, while electron transport chain involves a series of complexes that transfer electrons from electron donors to electron acceptors via redox reactions and couples this transfer with the transfer of protons across a membrane.

Answer:

Grass - grasshopper- man - bacteria.

Grass - rabbit- man - maggot.

Grass - cow - man - bacteria.

Explanation:

In these food chains, grass is the producer that provides food to primary consumer or herbivores such as grasshopper, cow and rabbit. These primary consumers are the food of secondary consumer such as human while when human die, it become the food of worms and decomposers such as maggot, bacteria etc. the nutrients releases by decomposers are used by producers for the production of food for themselves.

Do prokaryotic organisms carry out<br> cellular respiration? If so, how?
Stella [2.4K]

Hi

Do prokaryotic organisms carry out  cellular respiration? If so, how?

The answer is yes as well as no, because some prokaryotes like Archeae and some bacteria donot use cellular respiration because they are anaerobic. The Archaea are also known as Methanogens that reduce Carbon di oxide from environment to Methane that is eventually oxidized to NADH (that is used as an energy source).

However, there are some bacteria that use cellular respiration as a source for the energy production.Cellular respiration is a process which occurs in the cells of higher living organisms as well as in cells of some small organisms like Bacteria. During process of cellular respiration in bacteria, glucose is broken down with the help of oxygen into water and Carbon di oxide. In the process of cellular respiration, bacteria just like humans goes through three stepsi.e Glycolysis, Kreb cycle and Electron transport chain that ultimately lead to the production of ATP (energy).

Hope it helps!
