Water is considered an abiotic factor in the ecosystem because it is a non-living part of the ecosystem. Water is very important to al living things and no living organism can survive without it. Other abiotic factors in the ecosystem are soil, rocks, sunlight, oxygen, etc.

The current thought on the structure of the cell membrane is: a. a static phosphate sandwich of lipids b. a fluid-mosaic of phos
baherus [9]

Answer:

b. a fluid-mosaic of phospholipids and proteins

Explanation:

According to the currently accepted structure, the cell membrane is made up of two layers of amphipathic phospholipids in which proteins are embedded or present. The hydrophobic tails of phospholipids make the core of the membrane. These tails are not covalently attached to each other and are free to move laterally. Likewise, the protein molecules float in the fluid bilayer. This mosaic pattern is not static since the positions of the proteins in the bilayer are constantly changing. The fluid mosaic model to explain the structure of the cell membrane was given by S.J. Singer and Garth L. Nicolson in 1972.

I) Explain how the biochemical reaction can still occur if the blood sugar level is lower
kramer

Answer:

To produce energy from available sugar.

Explanation:

The biochemical reaction can still occur if the blood sugar level is lower  than the normal range because energy is needed by the body for its activities. The biochemical reactions helps in producing energy in the form of ATP that is needed by the body for its different activities. The lower level of sugar in the blood does not fulfil the needs of body but provides some energy for it so that's why the body produces energy from available sugar present in the body.
