what about something, shaped kinda like a microwave, that when you put a fossle/bones/ any organic matter in it, you can see what it looked like?

then you could find out what the thing is/was/ will be without a lab or computers or even guessing.

sorry if that sounds kinda nerdy, but its a thought.
