you can go to desmos calculator online and simply put in the equation. but what you're going to do is find -5 on the y axis. then you will go up 2 and then 1 to the right.

Two bird watchers position themselves at point A (the beach) and point C (the shed) which are 111 feet apart. The both spot a ra
o-na [289]

Answer:120 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Beach(A) and Shed (C) is 111 feet apart

If Two bird watchers set then at A and C and observe a bird at 94^{\circ} and  46^{\circ}

Using Trigonometric relation

\tan 86=\frac{h}{x}---1

\tan 46=\frac{h}{111+x}---2

from 1 and 2

x\tan 86=(111+x)\tan 46

x=8.66\ ft\approx 9\ ft

Therefore bird is 120\ ft from point C

A point on the terminal side of an angle theta is given. Find the exact value of each of the six trigonometric functions of thet
statuscvo [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Plot that point in the x/y coordinate plane to see that it sits in the third quadrant.  From the point, draw a line to the origin, constructing a right triangle.  The side adjacent to the angle is -2, the side across from the angle is -5, so we need to find the length of the hypotenuse using Pythagorean's Theorem:

c^2=(-5)^2+(-2)^2 and

c^2=25+4 so

c=\sqrt{29}

That means that

sin\theta=-\frac{5}{\sqrt{29} }=-\frac{5\sqrt{29} }{29} and

csc\theta=-\frac{\sqrt{29} }{5}

That means that

cos\theta=-\frac{2}{\sqrt{29} }=-\frac{2\sqrt{29} }{29} and

sec\theta=-\frac{\sqrt{29} }{2}

It also means that

tan\theta=\frac{5}{2} and

cot\theta=\frac{2}{5}

Help ASAP.<br><br><br> 1. What is the equation of the midline of the sinusoidal function
Scilla [17]

Answer:

y = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

The maximum of this function is 5 and the min. is -1.  Thus, the range is [-1, 5].  The midpoint of this range is the y-value of the midline:

-1 + 5

--------- = 2

    2

Thus, the equation of the midline is y = 2.
