Knights vs samurai Here are the differences between knights and samurai similarities -They both had swords -Both had a code of chivalry -Fought with honor of their country -Both wore armour -They both rode horses in battle - differences -The swords were different. eg. Katana -Knights had metal armour covering every inch of their body -Samurai carried two swords, a katana and a shorter blade(used for seppuku) -Samurai commited seppuku if their daimyo died or if they lost a battle.
