Answer: b. The Pilgrims

Explanation:

The Plymouth colony was the second successful English colony in what would become the United States. It was founded by a specific group of Puritans who came to be known as the Pilgrims.

These Puritans did not want to reform the Anglican Church like the others but instead wanted complete separation from it. To this end, they came to the Americas to escape the Anglican Church and start a society based on their specific rules and doctrine.

Can someone tell me what the middle class is during the medieval times and how it came to exist?
swat32
The rise of the middle class came from two different groups of people, upper class families were one becuase of the amount of money it took to become a succesful merchant/ trader. The other group was merchants from the lower class who were often looked down upon but because of their succes in their respective guilds they were brought together. The middle class grew in importance due to the fact that there was a significant growth in the number of towns. The rise of the middle class created a merchant class, responsible for the growth of cities, increased trade, and lifted people from the lower class.

Conpare “old” vs. “new” immigrants including the motives (push/pull factors) by which immigrants came to the United States
Vera_Pavlovna [14]

The main difference is which part of Europe they came from, and the numbers of immigrants. There were many, many more "New Immigrants'" than old, 20 million people between 1880 - 1920. And the New Immigrants came mostly from southern and Eastern Europe, which meant they were almost all Catholics.
