Deserts normally happen around the Steppes I know this because the cyan only stays around the yellow parts meaning the Steppes only happen around Deserts. Another interesting thing is that it’s moderately warm with dry summers around the savanna parts of the map so that means that the savanna keeps it relatively dry and warm during the winters.
