sattari [20]

Answer:

Public school students do not lose their constitutional rights when they walk through the schoolhouse doors. The U.S. Supreme Court has recognized that “students in school as well as out of school are ‘persons’ under our Constitution.” This means that they possess First Amendment rights to express themselves in a variety of ways. They can write articles for the school newspaper, join clubs, distribute literature, and petition school officials.

But public school students do not possess unlimited First Amendment rights. Two legal principles limit their rights. First, as the Supreme Court has said, minors do not possess the same level of constitutional rights as adults. Second, the government generally has greater power to dictate policy when it acts in certain capacities, such as educator, employer or jailer. For instance, a school principal can restrict a student from cursing a teacher in class or in the hallway. However, the principal would have limited, if any, authority to punish a student for criticizing a school official off-campus.

Mariulka [41]

Answer:

Martin Luther King Jr. is an inspiration to me. He was born Jaunary 13, 1929, and attended Morehouse College at the age of 15. Martin was inspired by Henry David Thoreau, Mahatma Gandhi, and many influental leaders of the past. He led the Montgomery bus boycott in 1955, and was arrested for peacefully protesting in 1960. Based on MLK’s work, the Interstate Commerce Commission banned segregation in interstate travel. On June 23, he led a group of 125,000 people in a Freedom Walk in Detroit, and on August 28, he joins more than 250,000 people in the March on Washington and delivers the famous “I Have a Dream” speech. He was awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964, and unfortunately was assinated in 1968, at the age of only 39.

Despite all the hatred and discrimination he endured, he kept a peaceful outlook. Non-violent protesting was his method against racism. Looking at his life, we can learn that hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.

Hope this helps!

Vlad1618 [11]
The most likely reason why Art Buchwald wrote Job Hunting is to tell new graduates that applying for a job is not easy. One has to be determined not to give up easily when faced with refusals and disappointments. His advice is to be creative and find ways to get the attention of the future employer.

Answer:

C . Chinese immigrants endured discrimination based on hatred.

Explanation:

Chinese immigrants faced discrimination based on hatred and racism. The Chinese Must Go started in the period of 1850s before federal border control established strict divisions between citizens and immigrants. Across decades, Chinese workers faced escalating racial conflict and unrest due to their alien nature which increases fear among the people of immigrants.
