Where does most of the world's population tend to settle? near mountain valleys wherever the herds move near bodies of water far
Assoli18 [71]
Right now people live typically in cities which are comparatively old, so the relevant question here is where did people choose to settle in the past.

In the past it was very important for people to live next to water sources- it was a source of drinking water, allowed defence and trade. So the correct answer is "near bodies of water"

If you could drill from the outer surface of Earth all the way to the center, you would pass through the major divisions of Eart
natima [27]

Answer:

- crust

- mantle

- core

Explanation:

The Earth is a planet that is divided into three major divisions, or layers. The top layer is the crust, which is brittle solid, and it is also the thinnest ones of the all. The second layer is the mantle, which is a layer that has higher temperature and pressure, composed mostly of molten rock, and being responsible for the tectonic movement on the crust above. The third, deepest layer, is the core. The core is the hottest and has the highest pressure. It is the layer that is responsible for the magnetic field of the planet.
