Me gustan los domingos. por la mañana, vamos a la iglesia y (1) (oír / poner) el sermón. al mediodía, (2) (decir / salir) de la
butalik [34]
1. The correct answer is "oímos."

The sentence says: In the morning, we go to church and ____ the sermon. "Oír" means "to hear" and "poner" means "to put," so "oír" is the correct verb. Since the subject is "we" (nosotros), you must conjugate the verb in the second-person plural form: oímos.

2. The correct answer is "salimos."

The sentence says: At noon, we ____ the church and we come to this park. "Decir" means "to say" and "salir" means "to leave," so "salir" is the correct verb. The subject pronoun is still "we," so the correct conjugation (second-person plural) is "salimos."

3. The correct answer is "trae."

The sentence says: My Aunt Gloria ___ some sandwiches... "Traer" means "to bring" and "ver" means "to see," so "traer" is the correct verb. The subject pronoun is now third person singular (she - ella), so "traer" becomes "trae."

4. The correct answer is "traigo."

The previous sentence continues: ...and, since I like music, I ___ a radio. "Traer" means "to bring" and "hacer" means "to make" or "to do," so the correct verb is "traer." The subject pronoun is I (yo), so the correct conjugation is "traigo" (in the present tense, this verb is only irregular in the first-person singular form).

5. The correct answer is "pongo."

The sentence says: I don't ____ the music on too loud. "Hacer" means "to make" or "to do," and "poner" means "to put," so "poner" is the correct verb. Like "traer," "poner" is irregular in the first-person singular form for present tense: pongo.

6. The correct answer is "salgo."

The sentence says: Later on, I ___ with my friends to the movie theater... "Salir" means "to leave" and "ver" means "to see," so "salir" is the correct verb. Like "traer" and "poner," "salir" will be irregular in the first-person singular form for present tense: salgo.

7. The correct answer is "vimos."

The previous sentence continues: ...and we ____ a movie. "Decir" means "to say" and "ver" means "to see," so "ver" is the correct verb. The verb should still be conjugated with the "we" subject pronoun (second-person plural), so the correct answer is "vimos."

8. For the four sentences (oraciones), you could talk about how you go to Mexico to play a tennis match. For example: Salimos para Mexico porque somos en el partido de tenis, y vamos a jugar contra otro partido (We're leaving for Mexico because we're on the tennis team, and we're going to play against another team). You could continue by talking about how you won against a girl named Alejandra, etc.

Paragraph on sense of cooperation
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Answer:

In present educational system there are variety of competitions in academic area and athletic area for children to attend, which could stimulating the will of children to learn and to achieve the best of them, and also be able to teach them teamwork skill. However, some people think it is better to make children be competitive than cooperative, both the values have its arguments.

A strong competition sense helps children having urge to learn or to practice for being the best among peers, and this factor is initially arises from the schools and parents, to encourage children to get the highest scores through the grading system. Even though a competitive child is usually more motivated to pursue a goal or to face difficulties independently, but it is also risky that children are becoming too competitive to cooperating with others. Being competitive leads them to success, but could also restrict them in many ways. For example, it might be hard for a competitive person to deal or manage in a team work project.

On the other hand, cooperation is also an essential quality for children, no matter in school activities or in communities. Having a good cooperating spirit helps kids to communicate and get along with others, which gives them more possibility to solve problems or to achieve a goal easily by working as a team. After all, in society, there is hardly anyone who could has big achievement by oneself. For example, famous singers or movie stars, despite of their talent to make them successful, there are always a team to manage works or deal with things.

Competition and cooperation are both essential skills for people to live in this world. Someone believe it's better to put their children in a competition environment early to adapt current society, but others say that cooperation is the most significant skill which children have to know well. In this essay, I will talk about both side and give my own opinions about them.

However, only focus on competitiveness is not always beneficial for children. To begin with, young children are naturally egocentric. Therefore they have to learn how to feel other people's feeling and help other one. No parent want their child become a selfish man, isn't it? In addition, group work is a good way to teaching children communication skill and sense of responsibility. We are now live in a highly-interdependent knowledge society, it is hard that one man can cope with everything, no matter how brilliant you are, work as a team always the best and effective method to getting a success.

In conclusion, it is almost impossible to separate these two features of our lives. Competition and cooperation are potential elements in our blood, they are most important factors to us to establish current world, and children have to learn both of things well.

Some people argue that children should be motivated to join competition, while other conclude that sense of cooperation is needed among children to make them better adults. However in my opinion, i believe that mix of both sense of competition and cooperation is needed to make children better adults.

There are many advantages of competition. Firstly, the sense competition among children will strive them to work hard and get first position in class. The students competing against each other, will try hard to improve themselves in order to perform well against their rival students. Each student will try his/her out most to achieve better position in class. We live in a very competitive society, so students should be prepared for it. When i was student, my school lacked sense of competition, students only cared about passing the exams. As a result our school ranked lower. So competition among students is also important.

There are also disadvantage of competition. As students will become selfish. Many parents would also compel their children to achieve better marks, so they can feel superior in family.

On the other hand there are many people who believe that cooperation has better influence on children than competing among them. Team work solves problem faster and better. Children studying together can help each other understand better, and can solve their home work much quicker. Each can help other in covering their weakness. In groups students can learn a lot of skills from each other. It also become easier for them to interact with other individual in the society. However different occasion need different skills, for example during exam, helping each other mean cheating.

So in general, mix of both competition and cooperation should be taught to the student
