1. Does something have to be original to be art? Can a forgery or copy be art?
aev [14]

Answer:

1. All works of art can be original but not all art is as original as others. Its not morally wrong but it involves passing a copy of the artists work off as created by the original artist, usually for financial gain.

2. The definition of work of art is something that is considered to have aesthetic value, so.ething that is beautiful, intriguing, interesting, creative or extremely well done.

3. Art influences society by changing opinions, instilling values and translating experiences across space and time.

4. Yes, art can express feelings and ideas by how you make your art or what you put into it.

5. Art brings people together physically—at galleries, museums, performance spaces—and culturally, through its capacity to tell a community's shared stories.

Name the three main types of relief sculptures. Which do you think would be the most difficult to create? Why?
Arturiano [62]
There are three basic types of relief sculpture: (1) low relief  where the sculpture projects only slightly from the background surface; (2) high relief  where the sculpture projects at least half or more of its natural circumference from the background, and may in parts be wholly disengaged from the ground, thus approximating sculpture in the round. [Sculptors may also employ middle-relief , a style which falls roughly between the high and low forms]; (3) sunken relief, where the carving is sunk below the level of the surrounding surface and is contained within a sharpely incised contour line that frames it with a powerful line of shadow. The surrounding surface remains untouched, with no projections. Sunken relief carving is found almost exclusively in ancient Egyptian art, although it has also been used in some beautiful small-scale ivory reliefs from India.
