Read the excerpt from “The Red-Headed League.”
Marrrta [24]

Answer:

Holmes is suspicious of Spaulding.

Explanation:

The story of The Red-Headed League by Arthur Conan Doyle from his Sherlock Holmes series revolves around the case of the bank robbery that Mr. Spaulding and his accomplice had planned. The robbery was thwarted, as usual, by Holmes and Watson.

In the given passage, Holmes is inquiring about this assistant of Mr. Wilson, Vincent Spaulding. Wilson agrees that there is no issue with the man except that he loves taking pictures and immediately goes to the cellar now and then. Holmes’s interest in the assistant suggests that he seems to be suspicious of him and his actions.

Thus, the correct answer is the first option.

Factors that could hamper (block) effective communication
sveticcg [70]
There are many factors that could hamper an effective communication. Some of those could be: social status (if you are talking to someone who has a more important status than yourself, it may happen that they are not interested in a communication with you), use of language (if you use inappropriate words, the conversation is not going to be successful), knowledge about the subject (if you don't know what you are talking about, the conversation is likely not going to continue), atmosphere/noise, cultural differences, disabilities, etc.

PLEASE HELP How does the difference between the character’s point of view in the comic and the point of view of the audience cre
irina [24]

Hello. You forgot to present the comic to which the question refers. The comic is in the attached image:

Answer and Explanation:

The public knows that the falling of the leaves is a natural process of nature, but the character believes that the leaf fell due to this dissatisfaction with the place where he lives, just like him. In this case, the character leaves disappointed because the leaf fell from the tree and this generates humor in the comic, mainly because he reflects on life while observing a dead leaf.
