Read the extract below and correct the error in verb tense.
oksano4ka [1.4K]

Answer:he error is "We  also had a 20 metre pool."

Explanation: In grammar, tense is a category that expresses time reference with reference to the moment of speaking. Tenses are usually manifested by the use of specific forms of verbs, particularly in their conjugation patterns. In English, tenses include past, present and future. When writing we need to make sure that be consistent in the use of tense. In the given extract all the information is in present (we have, we run, etc) except for the phrase "We  also had a 20 metre pool" which is in past, it should be "We  also have a 20 metre pool."

pshichka [43]

For example, Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games is motivated to volunteer for her sister, because she wants to protect her (external) and because she could not live with herself if she did not (internal). Make Your Characters Have More Than One: Make sure your characters have a few motivations.

Explanation:

Ways that you can make your character more realistic too it

Give them flaws. ...

Don't make things black and white for them. ...

Give them unique appearances. ...

Let them talk like actual people. ...

Give them traits from real people. ...

Alliteration — throw that trash away. ...

It always works with my schedule.

Which word correctly completes the sentence?
vichka [17]
Im guessing its B, Because it just makes more sense! I went in there and read it aloud using both words (A and B) B made more sense. With an object being measured, such as a lemon, to make a quart of lemon juice, Id say you'd use the word number. Amount is not a word used for an object or measurement.
