The end answer is 40.75cm^2 (squared)

How i got there was i used the equation

1/2 (a×b ) + 3/2 (b×s)

where A is the height of the base triangle

Where b is the side length (it does not matter which one but it is one of the 5's)

The second b stands for the same thing.

Where S represents the height of the pyramid.

So then we get this:

1/2 (4.3 × 5) + 3/2 (5 × 4)

you solve the parentheses first and so on and so on.

I hope this helps!! Have a good day and remember to be tiger fierce!! :p

Determine the intervals on which the function is increasing, decreasing, and constant
max2010maxim [7]
I believe it's increasing on all fronts, because if you start from the right, you see that the y values always increase, hence they are increasing. They do it for when x<0 and when x>0. So, it should be increasing on all real numbers

What is the value of the expression 3a-b/6(b+a) when a = 5 and b = -3?<br><br> Show your work.
Snowcat [4.5K]

Answer:

15\frac{1}{4}

Step-by-step explanation:

3a - \frac{b}{6(b+a)} when a=5 and b=-3 is

3*5 - \frac{-3}{6(-3+5)} \\15 - \frac{-3}{6(2)}\\ 15 - (\frac{-1}{4} )\\15 + \frac{1}{4}\\\frac{61}{4} \\\\ 15\frac{1}{4}
