Explain the Chinese principal the "Mandate of Heaven" that is mentioned in King Wen is on High.
motikmotik

The "Mandate of Heaven" is an ancient Chinese philosophical concept, which originated during the Zhou Dynasty (1046-256 BCE). The Mandate determines whether an emperor of China is sufficiently virtuous to rule; if he does not fulfill his obligations as emperor, then he loses the Mandate and thus the right to be emperor. There are four principles to the Mandate:
1) Heaven grants the emperor the right to rule,
2) Since there is only one Heaven, there can only be one emperor at any given time,
3) The emperor's virtue determines his right to rule, and,
4) No one dynasty has a permanent right to rule.

Hope this helps!

Select TWO effects of the deposition of King James II.
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

- The new monarchy signed into effect an English Bill of Rights giving more power to Parliament.

- The Church of England became more powerful.

Explanation:

After the ousting of king James II, his daughter Mary and her husband William of Orange, the Dutch ruler, acceded to the throne. They signed the Bill of Rights in 1689, which gave Parliament power over the monarchy. Because Mary and William were Protestants, Protestantism and the Church of England got strengthened as a consequence.

In triangle ARC, m < A=70. what is the measurement of arc AC?
70
80
140
40
S_A_V [24]
So, you have all three angles of the triangle and you want to find the arc across from angle R. Since the\angles of a triangle total 180 degrees, each arc is twice the measure of the angle across from it on the other side. that being said, triangle ARC with an angle of 70 means its isosceles so it would have 2 angles at 70 degrees leaving an angle at 40 and since an arc is 2x an angle arc AC should be 80
