Cooking is very vital in a home and it makes the couple have several delicacies as both of them practices new methods and food styles. I have always wanted to be good in the kitchen so as to be a good husband to my future wife as I won't like her to be stressed after the activities of the day. I started developing interest in cooking when I was ten by frequenting the kitchen each time my mom gets in there to prepare food. I was gradually developing into maturity. The interest got me into watching much of Chef Shows and Programs on the TV and I was inspired more by the displays and practices which launched me becoming a more better chef. I was so confident that i decided to enroll in a competition where different people of different experiences came to showcase what they have learnt for years. I learnt a lot and this experience kept inspiring me to be good in the kitchen even up till this day.

"Both of the candidates" can be replaced with the word "they" and that may help you when deciding what is considered a complete sentence.
