I saw that you said reaping scene so here it is. Katniss tries her best to calm Prim down, but it all goes out the window when Prim's name is called by Effie. Prim starts to walk up to the stage, but is stopped when Katniss volunteers as tribute to keep Prim alive. Prim screams for Katniss to change her mind but is held back by some ppl. The sentence that has an error in subject-verb agreement is D. The man, in the next apartment, as well as the people across the hall, have lived in the building since 1960.

Subject-verb agreement means that the subject of a sentence and the verb must agree in number. That is to say, both of them need to be singular or plural. In sentence D, the subject of the sentence is "the man" and the verb is "have lived". As the sentence refers to one man, the verb should be "has lived" in order to agree in number with the subject.

nlexa [21]
It is clear that the French society viewed the war as being one of difficulty and hardship, despite the fact that the noblemen did not have to sacrifice their lives for the cause. This was a clear portrayal of differentiation in mentality among the French society during this era.
