Solution:

Area of a rhombus is:

Area=\dfrac{d_1d_2}{2}

Where, d_1,d_2 are two diagonals of the rhombus.

It is given that the length of diagonals of the rhombus are 12 ft and 5 ft.

Putting d_1=12,d_2=5, we get

Area=\dfrac{12\times 5}{2}

Area=\dfrac{60}{2}

Area=30

Therefore, the area of the rhombus is 30 square ft.
