Given:

The length of diagonals of a rhombus are 12 ft and 5 ft.

To find:

The area of the rhombus

Solution:

Area of a rhombus is:

Area=\dfrac{d_1d_2}{2}

Where, d_1,d_2 are two diagonals of the rhombus.

It is given that the length of diagonals of the rhombus are 12 ft and 5 ft.

Putting d_1=12,d_2=5, we get

Area=\dfrac{12\times 5}{2}

Area=\dfrac{60}{2}

Area=30

Therefore, the area of the rhombus is 30 square ft.

Point A is located at (?5, 2) on a coordinate grid. Point A is translated 1 unit to the left and 5 units down to create point A'
svp [43]
ANSWER

C) 5.1 units

EXPLANATION

The coordinates of A are (5,2).

If this point is translated 1 unit to the left and 5 units down to create point A'.

Then A' has coordinates

A(5,2)\rightarrow \: A'(5-1,2-5)

A(5,2)\rightarrow \: A'(4, - 3)

The distance between A and A' is calculated using the distance formula,

|AA'| =  \sqrt{ {(5 - 4)}^{2}  +  {(2 -  - 3}^{2} }

|AA'| =  \sqrt{ {(1)}^{2}  +  {(5)}^{2} }

|AA'| =  \sqrt{ 26}

|AA'| =  5.099

We round to the nearest tenth to obtain,

|AA'| =5.1 \: units

The measurement that is closed to the distance is 5.1 units

if an angle is acute, then the measure of its complement must be greater than the measure of its supplement? a.true b.false
iogann1982 [59]
The answer is a because the compliment is the other part of the 180 degree half circle, and if it's acute it has to be smaller than its compliment
