What are the different types of triangle?

The sum of angles in any triangle is 180°. On a diagram, equal sides of a triangle have one small line or dash drawn on each side.

Equilateral

An equilateral triangle has three equal sides and angles. It will always have angles of 60° in each corner.

Isosceles

An isosceles triangle can be drawn in many different ways. It can be drawn to have two equal sides and two equal angles or with two acute angles and one obtuse angle. It is easy to work out the missing angles of an isosceles triangle by looking for the angles that should be equal.

Right-angled triangle

A right-angled triangle has one 90° angle. That 90° angle is shown as a small square where two sides of the triangle join. It is possible for a triangle to be a right-angled triangle and an isosceles triangle at the same time. In this case the angles would be 90°, 45° and 45°.

Scalene

A scalene triangle has three different angles and none of its sides are equal in length.

Find the unit rate for each person's typing test in words per second 0.5 words/second is the unit rate for James. 3 words/second
Salsk061 [2.6K]

Unit rates is the rate of a quantity in comparison to 1 i.e. unit.

Based on the given parameters, Shanya is the fastest typist

From the question, the unit rates are given as:

  • James: 0.5 words per second
  • Shanya = 3 words per seconds

The unit rates of Tristan and Ebony are not given.

So, we compare the rates of James and Shanya

3 words in a second is greater than 0.5 words in a second.

Hence, Shanya is the fastest typist

X°and x+2 are complementary angles then find the angles<br>
Elanso [62]

Answer:

44° and 46°

Step-by-step explanation:

Complementary angles sum to 90° , thus

x + x + 2 = 90

2x + 2 = 90 ( subtract 2 from both sides )

2x = 88 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 44

Thus the 2 angles are 44° and 44 + 2 = 46°
