Angle 2=3, so angle 1=4 because angles ABC & BCD equal 90°. When you add together the angles of a triangle you get 180 and if you could put angle 1 and 4 together it would look like an upward version.

That is the best way I could describe it. Hope that helps.

Decimal, fractions, simplest form
ser-zykov [4K]

The ratio is supposed to be successful field goals to attempts which would be 813 successful field goals : 1,422 attempts.

This ratio equals the fraction 813/1422 and 813 is a prime number so that is the simplest form of the fraction.

The decimal form of a fraction is the quotient between the numerator and denominator. 813 ÷ 1422 = 0.571729957806. The question says to round to the nearest thousandth, so 0.572.

A bank offers a 3.7% annual interest rate for a retirement savings account. A worker puts $8,000 into the account. How much will
kozerog [31]

Answer:

$8,296

Step-by-step explanation:

(see attached for reference)

assuming simple interest, the final amount is given by

A = P(1 + rt), where

A = final amount (we are asked to find this)

P = principal amount = given as $8000

r = rate = 3.7% = 0.037

t = time = 1 year

substituting the known values into the formula,

A = P(1 + rt)

= 8,000 [ 1 + (0.037)(1) ]

= $8,296
