Consider the annexation of Texas and the Mexican-American War from a Mexican perspective. What would you find objectionable abou
blagie [28]

In a Mexican perspective, the Mexican-American War is called American invasion because Mexico considered the annexation of Texas a violation of the 1828 border treaty that acknowledged Mexico’s sovereignty over the territory.

The US policy did not accept negotiations and demanded the cession of the territories, which is very objectionable which left the Mexican government without choice, they had to have friendly relations or resort to war. Mexico never declared war against the US it simply defended it’s territory’s integrity.

All of this demonstrates how the US policy was forcing Mexico to go to war for simply defending its territory against an invasion.

Why did native Aborigines view the European colonization of Australia as a belligerent action?
max2010maxim [7]

Native aborigines view the European colonization of Australia as a belligerant action because they saw the settlement of europeans as an invasion of their land and an attempt to change their lives. There were many complaints about sexual abuse of native australian women by some europeans. Tensions grew after several massacres of aborigins.
