Describe the main disagreement between Susan Baker and John Denver. Use two details from the testimonies to support your respons
g100num [7]

Answer:

The main disagreement between Susan Baker and John Denver was about placing a warning label on music products inappropriate for younger children due to explicit sexual or violent lyrics while John Denver did not support any censorship of any kind on music released.

Explanation:

Firstly, John Denver, a Folk-rock musician, was strongly opposed to censorship of any kind in the society or anywhere else in the world  and that in his experience censors often misinterpret music, as was the case in one of his songs.

Secondly, John Denver believed that censoring is counter productive, in that the more people are prevented from doing something the more curious they are to try to do it. In essence, he said that which is denied becomes that which is desired, and that thing that is hidden becomes the most interesting to search for.

WILL MARK BRAINLIST I NEED THE ANSWER IN AT LEAST 8 SENTENCES.
mixer [17]

Answer:

This story affects me because it shows how people can be poor, but still have a good work ethic.  In the declaration of Independence, "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," is true, but not for all people.  Some people seek happiness, but never truly find what they are looking for, in this case, poor people are ALWAYS seeking happiness, but never obtain it because they will always be poor, this is just the way that it was meant to be.  There will be reality, real life and people will never truly find happiness.  On the other hand, there is ideal, the person who works hard and receives happiness in return.   So many people take for granted the gift of happiness.  Others see its beauty and appreciate it.  Poor people appreciate happiness more because of the fact that they have to work harder to obtain it.   Barbara Ehrenreich's "Serving in Florida" gives a detailed description of this.

1. Why do we need information?
AnnZ [28]

Answer:

1.) We need information because it empowers you! Information allows: intellectual development which leads to academic credibility. the development of subject knowledge leading to an ability to discuss your subject with authority.

2.) If you already know exactly what you're looking for, a search engine is the best way to find it. Search engines use keywords or phrases you choose to determine which web pages have relevant information. Think of a search engine as an index for the web. The most relevant results appear at the top of the screen.

3.) Human Memory is the processes that are used to acquire, store, retain and later retrieve information. It involves three domains: encoding, storage, and retrieval. Encoding is the process of getting information into memory.

4.) People also use information to confirm or verify something that they know, to predict what may happen, and to develop or maintain personal relationships.

5.) We actually communicate far more information using Non-verbal Communication. This includes non-verbal signals, gestures, facial expression, body language, tone of voice, and even our appearance.
