write an essay on the sight, sound, tastes and smells of the busiet food Street in your area (words limit 100-120)
VikaD [51]

Answer:

Collins Street is known for its restaurants. The combination of different aspects creates an environment that gives unique experiences.

Just walking through Collin Street is a unique experience. As you move on, you can smell the restaurants. Tomonino and its pizza, Ross with its special ravioli, or Sky and its beer are some of them. It is such a busy street. There are always people laughing, singing, celebrating, or lovers lost in each other's eyes. There are also restaurants with food from other countries. Besides, they offer a cultural experience since they are decorated with things from their respective countries.

The combination of the different smells, sights, food, and sounds, makes Collin street an enriching experience for all the senses.

Explanation:

The first paragraph of the essay is the introduction. We write our statement and try to catch the reader's attention. In the following section, to support our statement, we describe the smells, sights, sounds, and tastes present in the street. In the last part, we write a conclusion where we mention again what we said in the introduction. Also, in this paragraph, we can give a clear point of view.

Read the excerpt from Martin Luther King Jr.’s "The American Dream” speech.
velikii [3]

Answer: The true brotherhood of America, of respecting the separateness of others . . . and uniting in effort . . . has been so twisted and distorted.

Governor George Wallace was an American politician and 45th Governor of Alabama. He was famous for his opposition to desegregation and his support for Jim Crow positions.

His sentence "The true brotherhood of America, of respecting the separateness of others . . . and uniting in effort . . . has been so twisted and distorted" shows his political leanings. Wallace is arguing that the separation of different people (in this case black and white) needs to be respected, and that it should not be an obstacle for the unity of the country.

Martin Luther King Jr. would disagree with this position, as it clashes with his dream of all men of all races, nationalities and creeds living together as brothers.

Read the excerpt from the play New Toys:
natulia [17]

The similarity in the way the author shows the characters' actions include option B: In both excerpts, the author uses figurative language to show characters' actions.

What is figurative language?

Figurative language, on the other hand, is more complex. This deviates from conventional meaning, and by using certain rhetorical devices, like metaphors, analogies, or similes.

It heightens or deepens the meaning of the word associating, comparing or equating it with unrelated meanings.

Since this tends to be a hermeneutic exercise, there certainly is a subjective element to it, so that emotion can in fact play an important role in figurative language.

Therefore, correct option is B.

Conclusions related to historical events are limited to subjective evaluation of the existing evidence. TRUE or FALSE.
Dmitry [639]
I believe the answer to this is "true." Really, all conclusions on all events are subjective. But considering history, conclusions on events are especially prone to subjectivity. Consider who writes the history books. If one country wins a war against another country, they will write about themselves as the noble party and portray the enemy as villainous. However, this may not be the real case. This occurs much more than we think, and we must research different events to make sure we are not blindly buying into what people say. Hope this helps.
