I am so happy to inform you that I was installed as a chief and paramount ruler in my hometown last week. By this installation, I have ascended to the throne of my father. I have now been conferred with the title of "Imebuenyi XXIV" of Ogbor clan.
I am aware that this great elevation comes with a myriad of responsibilities. The most important among them is the pursuit of development in Ogbor clan.
During the days of my father, plans were underway to initiate an electrification project across all areas of Ogbor clan. This project was truncated by the transfer of the former operations manager of the Aba branch of the Enugu Electricity Company. I have now been informed that the new operations manager of the branch have now fully assumed duties. I will follow up on this project and ensure that every part of Ogbor clan is connected to the national grid.
Secondly, I am happy to inform you that the state government have now commenced the construction of the Ogbor-Umuahia-Aba road. This road links Ogbor clan to other bustling areas of the state. This implies that investors can now be able to access Ogbor clan more easily. Here in Ogbor, there is abundant land mass that can be utilized for industrialization and consequently, job creation. In view of this, I have requested to have a meeting with the chairman of the State Council on Trade and Investment in order to fashion out ways of attracting investors to Ogbor clan after the construction of the Ogbor-Umuahia-Aba road.
I believe that my reign will move Ogbor people to the promised land because of my desire to embark on numerous developmental projects for the benefit of the people.
