Answer:

Sikhism accepts the Hindu belief in karma and reincarnation, but preaches a simple way to end the cycle by leading a disciplined life. Sikhs believe that through the grace of God and with the constant meditation and repetition of His name, one can free oneself from the cycle of birth and death. Guru Nanak explained to his followers that birth is due to karma, but liberation is due to the grace of God. Guru Nanak taught that salvation does not mean entering Paradise after one last judgment, but that it is the union and absorption within God.

Sikhism is, in essence, a monotheistic religion, and for that reason it has more in common with Islam than with Hinduism or Buddhism.

On what date was the constitution signed into law
Lynna [10]

Answer:

On September 17, 1787, 39 of the 55 delegates signed the new document, with many of those who refused to sign objecting to the lack of a bill of rights. At least one delegate refused to sign because the Constitution codified and protected slavery and the slave trade.
