Well, The women played the role in the WWI, into jobs vacated by men who had gone to fight in the war. New jobs were also created as part of the war effort, for example in munitions factories. Well, I think I will feel is feeling pride and patriotism tinged with shame, complicity, betrayal and guilt. And before their first deployment, soldiers worry about killing another human being.
