Leaders should be dependable, confident, and dedicated. A dependable leader will thrive because they are trustworthy, and their reputation is good. Confidence is also a necessary trait for a leader. There will be times when their beliefs, ideas and morals will be challenged, and they must be confident and determined to keep going. Finally, they should be dedicated, both to their country/whatever they're running and to their values. If they are committed to a cause, and are willing to fight for it, they will be seen as loyal and persistent.
