They are depositing each year enormous amounts of fertile deposits, gather along the way with the erosive processes. The accumulation of these fertile deposits has formed very fertile, deep soil, excellent for large scale farming, which was used by the humans that settled there, turned the region into agricultural one, and started to develop a civilization.
