Like all inventions, the television comes with its pros and cons. Television allowed millions of families to enjoy a fragment of the entertainment of cinema—television permitted many citizens the opportunity to be informed in a much faster and efficient way. However, it also allowed for these same broadcasting corporations to influence their viewers in their best interest. Television paved the way to less physical exercise. Regardless of the pros and cons we can all agree that television was a critical and game-changing innovation.
