To find the area of an object, multiply the width and the height
For the first picture using Pythagorean Theorem, we know that a^2 + b ^2 = c^2 but since we only know c ( 99.2) and b ( 62 ) we need to use the theorem to find a the equation we use for that is :
A = square root of ( c^2 - B^2 )
A = 77.44
When you have two squares stacked on top of each other, pretend the angle in the bottom left of the top square is a 90 degree angle, that means that the angle of the square right underneath, also sharing the line, is a 90 degree angle. Or whatever you would need to get it equal to 180, my example was 90/90.
