Answer:

2. They became increasingly violent, culminating in assault and murder.

Non-violence or passive resistance is a technique for social change that utilizes procedures. It is viewed as ethically legitimate to gently oppose unreasonable laws. Martin Luther King trusted that direct, non-violent protest action would force whites to confront segregation laws.

He made it generally acknowledged that individuals utilize quiet dissent to constrain changes to the law. Many white people upheld him and joined the protests.

Protests were regularly met with police and open violence. Numerous individuals were killed, yet Dr. King did not bolster utilizing savaviolence ery as a type of opposition.

The correct answer is B) They became increasingly violent, culminating in assault and murder.

Between 1960 and 1964, some white citizens protested with African Americans in the South in nonviolent actions. The response of Southerners opposed to integration changed toward whites who joined Civil Rights actions at the time in that they became increasingly violent, culminating in assault and murder.

These were the times of the Civil Rights MOvement in which many organizations fought for the rights and liberties of African Americans in the South. There were many incidents such as the riots in the University of Mississippi, in Oxford, in 1962where President Kennedy had to send the federal troops to control the racial problems. Or the march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in 1965 that was repressed by the police. Another incident was the assassination of Malcolm X in the same year. Or the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr in 1968.

Answer:

scalawag is a person who behaves badly but in an amusing way

segregation is separating groups of people mostly racial groups which was used after slavery was abolished until segregation was made illegal in the late 1960's

integration is the opposite it is mixing groups together who were previously segregated

the redeemers were a political coalition during the reconstruction era who had pro business views and were also the southern wing of the bourbon democrats

Lincoln's blueprint for Reconstruction included the Ten-Percent Plan, which specified that a southern state could be readmitted into the Union while President Andrew Johnson implemented a plan of Reconstruction that gave the white South a free hand in regulating the transition from slavery to freedom and offered no role to blacks in the politics of the South

reconstruction led to violence between southerners, the KKK was also formed and terrorized African Americans and anyone who was affiliated with the republican party

the republicans gave up fighting for equality and black rights in the south and the US also pulled their troops out of the south which ended the reconstruction era

Benjamin Tillman, South Carolina Senator, opposed northerners and their ideas. Johnson supported and also represented the beliefs of typical white southerners.

African Americans voted republican because Lincoln gave them freedom from slavery In the north, the society is used to African Americans living there as free people but the north still faced much racism and wouldn't elect an African american.

The drawing is somewhat realistic, when it comes to the carpet cloth suitcase. The parts of the picture that seem biased are the man that represents Lincoln.

It helped reunite slaves with their families and promoted literary African Americans.

Instead of working in gangs as they had on antebellum plantations, the freedmen (former slaves) became tenants after the civil war. The planter or landowner assigned each family a small tract of land to farm and provided food, shelter, clothing, and the necessary seeds and farm equipment. This arrangement became known as sharecropping.

Many white southerners were mad and scared of competition with the blacks so they turned to violence and many of them formed social groups like the KKK to terrorize the african americans.

the proposed 15 Amendment, which gave the vote to black men, caused controversy as women's suffrage campaigners such as Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton refused to endorse the amendment, as it did not give the vote to women.

the final question is what you think you'll have to answer what you think was the success and failure of the construction era.
