A governor can veto one or more parts of a bill without rejecting the entire bill. what is this power called?
Anna [14]
The correct answer is item veto. Basically, it's like when a teacher goes through your test and just the paper is covered in red. He vetoes only parts of it that he doesn't like and keeps what he does and the people who created the bill have to change it if they want it to be accepted.

Which affect do some believe third-party candidate Ross Perot had on the 1992 election?
Simora [160]

Answer:

Third-party candidate Ross Perot affected the 1992 election by taking a great amount of votes from Bush, thus allowing Clinton to win the elections.

Explanation:

The 1992 presidential election was contested between the Republican nominee and president George H.W. Bush; the Democrat Bill Clinton, governor of Arkansas; and the independent candidate Ross Perot, a Texas businessman.

Bush had alienated much of his conservative base by breaking his 1988 campaign promise against tax collection, when the economy was in a recession.

The Democratic nominee, Bill Clinton, managed to establish himself as the leader of a party that had been defeated by a large margin in the three previous presidential elections. In fact, thanks to the division of the right-wing vot between Bush and Perot, Clinton managed to win the elections with a lower voting percentage than that achieved by the loser of the 1988 election, Michael Dukakis.

How were serfs different from enslaved persons??
zalisa [80]
Serfs may eventually work their way to freedom (usually not), if you know the term tenant farmers, individuals who work on a property with some believe that eventually they may pay their debts off and become a freeman. An enslaved person, will never believe that they will eventually become free.

-My opinion anyway (probably wrong) but worth a try.
