Considering that nearly 85 percent of corn crops are genetically engineered, which impact does genetically engineered corn have
atroni [7]
Genetically modified crops are genetically engineered such that a desired trait is enhanced or reproduced to appear in every offspring. Genetically engineered corn has been engineered to resist pests and herbicides; thus, we have more yield and many people especially in the low class society can afford. A disadvantage, yet is still a debate, is that genetically engineered crops such as corn, has toxic effects to internal organs such as our liver, a vital internal organ.

An ecosystem that has a high level of _______ is able to fill all of its niches.
castortr0y [4]
Hmm. This one’s simple. It’s definitely biodiversity, because if there are lots of organisms, people can fulfill their niches easily. Carbon dioxide and pollution just harms the organisms and salt water doesn’t do much good, except in ocean ecosystems. The answer is C: Biodiversity.

Each lung is fed oxygen by a separate bronchus. Please select the best answer from the choices provided. T F
marysya [2.9K]
Yes it is absolutely true that each lung is fed oxygen by a separate bronchus. There are actually two lungs and two bronchi. Each of the two lungs are safeguarded by the two ribcages as they are placed within the rib cages. The lungs actually consists of elastic sacs that contract and expand for taking in and releasing air. This way oxygen is passed into the blood and carbon dioxide is taken out from the blood and passed out. This is also the main function of the lungs.
