Buddhism spread along trade routes like the Silk Road. It made its way into East and Southeast Asia in regions like China, Korea and Japan. If you are looking for an area they both spread to it would be Southeast Asia.

Let's just try to work with Britain to get our rights back, instead of overthrowing the whole thing and establishing our own thing. That's just too much." Some thought that we would lose the revolution (which, in all honesty, they had good reason to think that) and didn't want to upset Britain.
