Which sentence correctly uses a coordinating clause?
Vikki [24]

Answer:

D. Dad went into the bedroom, but first he stopped to pet the dog.

Explanation:

A coordinate clause is a clause introduced by one of the coordinating conjunctions (<em>for, and, nor, but, or, yet, </em>or <em>so</em>). Together with the main clause, one or more coordinate clauses make up a compound sentence - a sentence that consists of two or more independent clauses.

In order to solve this question, we need to determine which sentence contains a coordinating conjunction. Based on the list of coordinating conjunctions I've included, we can see that the correct answer is sentence D (<em>but </em>is the coordinating conjunction that introduces the coordinate clause). The rest of the sentences contain subordinating conjunctions (<em>although, if, after</em>), which is why they are incorrect.

This is why option D is the correct one.

Inclusive education cause and effect paragraph
amid [387]

Answer:

Inclusive education is a movement for children with disabilities for their education.

Because how they treated people with disabilities in the Middle Ages was a sad thing.  The people with disabilities were treated inhumanely where they were sometimes left to die.

This is where the history of education for the disability had made a turn for the better.  With the current laws in place, education has become a great environment.  Children are all treated equally and are receiving the same education.  Laws like the “No Children Left Behind” are a great example.  Bylaws today, public schools must provide all resources to help their students with disabilities.  Teachers get the training that is needed to prepare for the care of children and how to accommodate their students in all ways possible.
