Which shows the correct substitution of the values a, b, and c from the equation 0 = – 3x2 – 2x + 6 into the quadratic formula?
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

shows correct substitution of the values a, b, and c  from the given quadratic equation    into quadratic formula.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: The quadratic equation

We have to show the correct substitution of the values a, b, and c from the given quadratic equation    into quadratic formula.

The standard form of quadratic equation is  then the solution of quadratic equation using quadratic formula is given as

Consider the given  quadratic equation

Comparing with general  quadratic equation, we have

a = -3 , b = -2 , c = 6

Substitute in quadratic formula, we get,

Simplify, we have,

Thus,  and x_{2}=\frac{2-\sqrt{76} }{-6}

Simplify, we get,

Thus,  shows correct substitution of the values a, b, and c  from the given quadratic equation    into quadratic formula.

D. 25 <br> Math question please help
Wewaii [24]
Alright this one is really simple even though it looks like alot. Start by looking at what they give you.

LM=9, LM is congruent to SP so SP=9

Now NR=16 and both NP and PR are congruent to MS.

16÷2=8
NP and PR = 8, So, MS=8

SR=8, MP is congruent to SR so MP=8

Alright so what we've just found out is that SP=9, MS=8, MP=8

We have three the line segments that make up SMP now! Just add them together to get your answer.
9+8+8= 25
Answer = D. 25

Your friend asks you to help cut grass this summer and will pay you 2 pennies for the first job. You agree to help if he doubles
Harrizon [31]
Let p_n be the amount of pennies received for lawn n.  Then, p_1 = 2 and p_{n+1} = 2p_n.

We claim by induction that p_n = 2^n.  The base case is trivial (p_1 = 2^1 = 2 is given).  Then, we complete the inductive step.  If p^n=2^n, we have:

p_{n+1} = 2 \cdot 2^n = 2^{n+1}

This completes the proof.

Thus, p_{15} = 2^{15} = 32768 = $327.68.
