PLEASE HELP!!??
Stels [109]
Well let me explain it to you like this: Industrial revolution affected the north a great deal and was all pretty much positive except for the problems that came when immigrants started to coming in. The only problems were the labor unions that formed when the workers decided they wanted more pay and better working conditions and the wealthy wanted to increase profits in their businesses. In the South there were many struggles when it came to segregation and discrimination. The economy was being rebuilt. The population was low and it didnt seem like a great place to be during this period. In the midwest there were also labor unions like in the north but they like the north also had many positive things come out of the revolution. In the West their transportaion was great with the transcontinental railroad and there economy base was agriculture but they had problems when immigrats from China came in and offered to work for less wages. The best parts to be living at that time were the North or Midwest because their economy was booming, the cities were expanding. Hope this works good for you

Why did the United States want texas ? explain
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

The US keeps Texas in the same manner that it wants to retain all of its territories after the Civil War, which essentially fixed the dilemma with states leaving the union once they're in, so Texas is part of the sovereign land of the United States, and we don't throw states out simply because their policies can or may not agree with what's happening at the federal level.
