What is “ f(x) = 2x^2- 32x” in standard form if it has one?
kap26 [50]
Most textbooks interpret standard form of a quadratic function to be as follows:

f(x) = a x^{2} + bx + c

In the function f(x) = 2 x^{2} - 32x , notice we do not have a value for "c". Just place a "0" in for the c and you have standard form.

the criteria for standard form:
1. All like terms are combined
2. Degree must drop from left to right
3. The leading coefficient cannot be equal to zero.

Sort all the numbers into the correct boxes.
aev [14]

Answer:

multiple of 4 : 8, 12

not a multiple of 4 : 2 , 18

prime : 3, 11

not prime : 9, 15

Step-by-step explanation:

First you need to know even number.

even number is (2,8,12,18 )

next odd number (3,9,11,15)

after that find number that is multiple of 4.

multiple of 4 is 4, 8,12,16,20,24,28 and so on

so its the number of multiple of 4 is ( 8 and 12)

and the number that is not a multiple of 4 is (2,18)

next odd number, odd number is ( 3,9,11,15)

next you should know prime number,

prime number is 3, 5,7,11,13,17,19 .....

so the answer for prime number for odd number is

( 3 and 11)

next is not prime number (9 and 15)

1) How many 3/4 does it take to make 9/2?

     Now look at this, 3/4 x 6 = 4 1/2.  4 1/2 is the same as 9/2

   3/4 + 3/4 + 3/4 + 3/4 + 3/4 + 3/4 ---> takes 6, 3/4's to make 9/2

2)  How many 3/4's go into 9/2?

This is the same question as the 1st one so the answer is 6 :)

3)  9/2 divided by 3/4 = ??

Use the KEEP< CHANGE< FLIP method, so it turns into  I
                                                                                                    I
                                                                                                    I
                                                                                                    I
      9/2 x 4/3                       < -------------------------------------          I

This is equal to 36/6 which is 6 :)

The answer is 6 for numbers 1, 2, and 3 :)
