For the first one I'm not entirely sure, but I would go with both dogs being an effective leader. As for the rest:

Only Spitz is always aggressive

Only Spitz laughs when Curly is killed

Both dogs are big and physically strong

Only Buck began life as a pet

Only Buck becomes aggressive

The __________ combined score moved the competitor to the top of the scoreboard.
ollegr [7]
Possibly, the word needed to fill the blank and complete the sentence would be ‘overall’, which means the ‘added’ or the ‘totaled’ let’s say score of a certain aspect. The sentence would be:

The overall combined score moved the competitor to the top of the scoreboard.

The sentence means that the competitor or candidate, possibly in a contest of example, sports have different scores and when added, the total score put the person (the competitor) atop everyone else during the competition.

As people discover that they are no longer as good as they once were at certain tasks, they accommodate, shifting to activities
____ [38]

Answer:

B) accumulated knowledge

Explanation:

According to my research on the different difficulties that people go through as they get older, I can say that based on the information provided within the question older people tend to shift to activities that depend more on accumulated knowledge. This seems to be the case because they feel they would be better off if they remember all they have previously learned.
