Anyways a appositive phrase is basically a couple words or so that describes the noun.

There is no phrase here describing a noun, it just is saying what the boys did.  A lot of verbs.

"Henry sat with Nathan and Clark, another boy from his cabin."

Alright so here we can see something. It is telling us that Henry sat with Nathan and Clark but we also have a phrase that adds onto and describes the boy Clark.

This is your appositive phrase! And it is describing the boy Clark.

So your answer is Clark since they're asking for the word that the appositive phrase is modifying.
