She also says that Mrs. Van Daan is selfish, cunning, pushy, and never content. Anne also tells what Mr. Dussel does: he hoards food, takes a quarter of the gravy during dinner, gives people a silent treatment, and snores in the middle of the night which shows that Mr. Dussel is irritating and selfish.<span>
