3. How did William Howard Taft try to change the Open-Door policy in China?
makkiz [27]

Answer:

William Howard Taft tried to follow few steps to change the "Open-Door policy" in China. The main motive of “Open Door policy” was to open trade with the Chinese markets. The policy was supported by all the rivals as well as this guaranteed that the geographical and constitutional integrity of China will remain unchanged.

In East Asia, “Dollar diplomacy” was introduced by William Howard Taft. He decided to use the economic strength of America to establish a strong American involvement in China. This would promote U.S. trade and investment in China. It basically aimed to minimize the use of military threat and use America’s bankers and industrialists to invest in new opportunities outside America.

In what ways did the enlightenment lead to the american revolution and the age of revolution
svetlana [45]

The Enlightenment Era spread the ideals of liberty, tolerance, progress, fraternity, constitutional government, and separation of church and state. These ideals are contrary to monarchies and imperial governments common at that time. These ideals first drove the intellectuals in America to think twice on following and paying taxes to a royal that culminated in the American Revolution. These ideals also enamored the French that resulted to the French Revolution.

In the salem witch trials Who were the main individuals and groups involved
Mandarinka [93]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

It was in Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony, where the Salem Witch Trails happened in colonial America from 1692 to 1693. In January 1962, some girls accused Tituba and two other women of having bewitched them. The Puritans were the main group involved in witch-hunting after Tituba confessed to being a witch. People such as Bridget Bishop, Martha Carrier, Giles Corey, and many more were sentenced during the witch-hunt. Historians consider that almost 200 people were accused, some 150 were arrested and 20 people were hanged at Proctor's ledge.
