The answer is: The Organic Laws of Oregon.

They were two sets of legislation made by a group of American settlers based in the Willamette Valley.

The laws created a structure for the white government in the Oregon Country. Later, in May 1843, a vote was made and, by majority, was decided to create what eventually was called the Provisional Government of Oregon.

1. What issue matters to you? 2.How can this issue be addressed by a law or legal measure? Be as specific as possible when think
ale4655 [162]

Answer:

The issue that matters to me is the life of Homeless people/shelters.

Explanation:

The reason this matters too me is because of how unfortunate and in a bad position homeless people are in, with little resources out there.

Females deal with -

 1. periods,
 2. some have kids,
 3. health issues

and this list could go on, the same goes with Males who are homeless.

How could the Law help?

I feel like the Law could help by making more homeless related shelters, places, and less building more fast food businesses. Where I live there is 2 Dunkin Donuts on the same side of town, and 3-4 Mcdonalds also on the same side of town. But not one resource center for the homeless, single/teen parents, abuse centers, nothing. And I know the government has to make their money even though they don't need it and are being greedy, but if you think about it people who are jobless and then GET a job can make money which goes towards the government. The cycle can go real easily but the government could care less about the poor/less fortunate which is sad.

Why this should matter?

This should matter because not all homeless people choose to be homeless. Yes some would rather be without any responsibility meaning a home, job, etc... But most fall into a different category-

 • Kids/teens get kicked from their guardians residence,
 • foster people would rather not be in the system their in,
 • circumstances might change drastically for the person and now they have no choice like loosing a job, or going through debt

And the list could go on. NOT ALL HOMELESS PEOPLE CHOOSE TO BE HOMELESS. So I feel like their should be more resources for that, not to mention for people of color. The Law should really recruit people that are willing to make this happen, for example it is the same with movements that are catering to a specific group of people/ problem. Homelessness should be apart of those problems, cause it is very big, wide spread, and will never stop. So the Law needs to take actions some how.
