Mr. Ross notices that the other teachers seem to have turned against The Wave, something that is confirmed when Christy and Principal Owens confront him about it. However, he reassures his wife and boss that he has a plan to end the experiment gracefully, in a way that will teach the students about fascism. They agree, although Principal Owens threatens to fire Mr. Ross if the experiment continues to go awry.

It's all based on your opinion as for me, yes having someone so knowledgeable and having to go through some of the worst times in human history has probably shaped him into a better person trying to help as many as he can (at least that's what I think of him). If he writes books and they're good and have a meaning to them and surviving the holocaust is just unfathomable from someone so kind and lighthearted. That's why in my opinion I would have liked to known Elie Wiesel
