Should companies persuade children to buy items? explain for all my points and give me a link or 2 of where i can find research
iragen [17]

No, companies should not persuade people to buy items because the kids could beg their parents to buy them the thing. The item might not be good, so their are the kids begging their parents for who knows what. No, they should not persuade them to buy things because this could lead to a ton of chaos. Now, can I have all of your points?

jok3333 [9.3K]

Answer:

How foolish i was to have believed that young woman...

It all sounded a bit odd from the beginning, and I ignored the other warning signals in my attempt to help a young woman in need.

Let me tell you how it all started: I was standing in a very short line at the mall, waiting to pay for the items I bought when I suddenly got accosted by a lady of not more than 23 years with red eyes and looking clearly in despair. She told me she had no money on her and her credit card was flagged but she really needed to get some cereal for her baby at home as he was hungry and sick.

The story sounded odd and I kept wondering why I was the one she approached out of half a dozen people. I decided to give her a hundred dollars and she thanked me profusely.

On my way to my car however, I saw her with a well-known drug dealer and it appears she's a junkie who scammed me for a quick fix

I was angry, disappointed all at the same time, but decided not to accost her and accuse her of being a disgusting thief, I walked trance-like to my car and all the while kept thinking, how foolish i was to have believed that young woman.
