Answer:  1144

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Machine A makes 7 parts every 10 minutes.

i.e. it makes \dfrac{7}{10} parts in 1 minute.

Machine B makes 16 parts every 15 minutes.

i.e. it makes \dfrac{16}{15} parts in 1 minute.

On Monday,

machine A makes parts for 12 hours(720 minutes).    [1 hour = 60  minutes, 12 hours = 12 x 6 = 720 minutes]

i.e. Total parts made = \dfrac{7}{10}\times720

i.e. Total parts made = 504

machine B makes parts for 10 hours(=60x 10=600 minutes)

i.e. Total parts made = \dfrac{16}{15}\times600

i.e. Total parts made = 640

Total parts made by both machines = 504+640 =1144

Hence, the total number of parts made by the two machines on Monday=1144.

how do you write the equation of a line with a slope of -2/15 that passes through the point ( - 5,5 )
prohojiy [21]

point slope form

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y-5 = -2/15(x--5)

y-5 = -2/15 (x+5)

change to slope intercept form

distribute

y-5 =-2/15x -10/15

y-5 = -2/15x -2/3

add 5 to each side

y = -2/15x -2/3 + 5

y = -2/15x -2/3 + 15/3

y = -2/15x +13/3

Create an algebraic expression for each of the following special products patterns. Use the special products formulas to complet
Len [333]

A. Perfect Square Trinomial is an expression obtained from the square of a binomial equation. Any trinomial of the form ax^2 + bx + c is said to a perfect square if it satisfies the condition b^2 = 4ac. Trinomial has two factors that are identical.

The perfect square trinomial formulas are:

(ax+b)^2=(ax)^2+2(ax)\cdot b+b^2,\\ (ax-b)^2=(ax)^2-2(ax)\cdot b+b^2.

For example,

4x^2-12x+9=(2x)^2-2\cdot 2x\cdot 3+3^2=(2x-3)^2,\\ 36x^2+12x+1=(6x)^2+2\cdot 6x\cdot 1+1^2=(6x+1)^2.

B. Difference of squares is the subtraction of two squares terms is a squared term minus from another squared term i.e. a^2 - b^2.

This may be factored according to the given below mathematical identity:

a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b).

For example,

2018^2-2017^2=(2018-2017)(2018+2017)=1\cdot 4035=4035,\\ 49m^2-81n^2=(7m)^2-(9n)^2=(7m-9n)(7m+9n).
