[4] looking at the gold links on the band, the watch seemed to rebekka to be expensive.
The dangling modifier is "looking". It is not clear who is doing the looking. The watch is the subject of the sentence, but it is definitely not looking. We can figure out that it's probably Rebekka, but we shouldn't have to figure it out and hope that we're right. It should be clear. This is why the modifier is called a dangling modifier - it's just kind of hanging there waiting to be claimed.
Gatsby's dream is basically the American Dream. That is, Gatsby wanted to make himself into a rich man who could have not only wealth but also love (Daisy).
The second half of Chapter 8 shows the results of Gatsby's dream. Gatsby, of course, is murdered by George Wilson. Wilson mistakenly believed Gatsby was responsible for the death of his wife. What Wilson didn't know, however, is that Daisy was driving Gatsby's car; therefore, Daisy was responsible for her death.
Therefore it is ironic that Gatsby's love for Daisy led to his death. His dream, then, is ultimately unattainable. He will never achieve the happiness he hoped for, and the person he loved most brought about his demise, albeit accidentally.
A functional document, also known as functional specification, is a document that specifies the function that a system must perform, mostly regarded in systems engineering and software development. It typically describes what the system needs by the user, including the requested properties of inputs and outputs. It is somewhat similar to a matching requirements document.
