Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

The denotation of the word ""cast"" in this excerpt means "to throw".

Explanation:

Reflecting to the given excerpt, it is so easy for humans to tread on and crush a worm crawling on the earth or to cut a single thread that hangs by. It talks about the effortless capacity of a human to do such things easily. It does not require any great effort nor it is labor-intensive.

Similarly, it is easy for God to cast his enemies down to hell anytime he pleases. It helps us to understand the power and authority of God as a supreme entity. By 'cast', it means 'to throw' his enemies into the pits of hell. Thus, God can throw his enemies down to hell just like humans can easily crush a worm.

What was the economic, societal, and political structure
of the New England colonial region?
DerKrebs [107]

Answer: The economic, social, and political structure of New England.

Explanation:

New England and Plymouth were among the first English colonies in the territory of the New World. The economy was based on production, shipbuilding, and fishing to gain a lot of importance. Thus, the port of Boston eventually became one of the busiest. When we talk about the social structure, the Puritans made up the majority. Precisely because of the impossibility of a religious organization of their own accord, they moved to North America and organized society as they wished. When we talk about the political structure, the head of the colony was the governor, and the first was John Winthrop around 1630 in New England.

Can someone tell me what the middle class is during the medieval times and how it came to exist?
swat32
The rise of the middle class came from two different groups of people, upper class families were one becuase of the amount of money it took to become a succesful merchant/ trader. The other group was merchants from the lower class who were often looked down upon but because of their succes in their respective guilds they were brought together. The middle class grew in importance due to the fact that there was a significant growth in the number of towns. The rise of the middle class created a merchant class, responsible for the growth of cities, increased trade, and lifted people from the lower class.
